Peter Colthup, G Squadron, Glider Pilot Regiment

Dear Members,

I am sorry to start the year with the sad news that Peter Colthup, Arnhem veteran and Honorary Life Member of the Arnhem 1944 Fellowship, passed away on 5th January 2026 aged 103.

Peter was with G Squadron and scheduled for the 2nd lift. After a forced landing, he came in with the 3rd lift. After days of fighting he was one of the lucky ones who returned over the river.

May he Rest In Peace.
