Charities which help support the Arnhem Fellowship’s purposes
Dear Members,
There are, of course, many good causes and worthwhile charities all looking for financial help.
Two such charities in particular that help to support the Arnhem Fellowship’s purposes are The Taxi Charity for Military Veterans and The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces Charity (SUPPORT OUR PARAS)
The Market Garden Challenge for the Taxi Charity
You will, I’m sure, be aware of the great work that the Taxi Charity does in bringing veterans to the Netherlands to support commemorative events.
This includes those events that the Arnhem Fellowship has a specific interest in, most notably the September commemorations.
Please check out their JustGiving page and if you feel able to then please help out

The Airborne Wandeltocht (Airborne March)
The Airborne Wandeltocht helps to raise funds for local groups involved in various elements of the September commemorations through its entry fees.
Are you already participating in the Airborne Wandeltocht?
Do you feel that you could get together with others and walk as a group in the name of the Arnhem Fellowship? We will supply T-shirts for those taking part as a group!
If you are interested in organising a team then please let me know.
The PARAS10 challenges and SUPPORT OUR PARAS.
As you will know, we have completed one of the 3 PARAS10 challenges that we set out to complete this year to raise funds for Support Our Paras.
We have two challenges left to do:
- On 3rd September at Catterick Garrison we have two participants currently looking to TAB the course (walk with a 35lb rucksack) and one runner. If you are already going and/or would like to join us as a team (this doesn’t affect your individual results) then please contact me.
- 1st-8th October – we have an amazing 13 runners lined up in the Netherlands in 3 teams to undertake the the 10 mile run in Arnhem itself.
We are looking for more runners to take part. It’s a virtual run i.e. you can run it anywhere in the world so long as you run 10 miles between the 1st and 8th October.
