Fellowship Dinner 19th September 2019

We are proposing to hold a dinner for members at the Lebret Hall – the same venue as the AGM on this date. The cost will be €29.50 and will include a buffet dinner, three drinks and dessert. If you wish to book a place please contact Jeannette Ringma on

AGM Friday 20th September 2019

This will be held at Lebret Hall, Lebretweg 51,6861ZZ Oosterbeek. Start time 1100.  Lunches will be available afterwards and the cost will be €8.50 and if you wish to order one please contact Jeannette Ringma on

Friday 20th September 2019 Battlefield Walk 1400 start time. 

This year’s walk will be centred on northern Oosterbeek. Topics covered will include the 7th King’s Own Scottish Borderers. We would be grateful if attendees would register their interest so we can divide you into smaller groups as we have done in previous years.

Saturday Morning Ginkel Heath 21st September 2019

The Arnhem veterans have been invited to the area as our guests of honour and we ask that the two front rows of sears are kept free for them.

Tea and coffee will be provided in the tent.

Lunches are available and the cost is €5 per person. If you wish to order a lunch please contact the Hon Secretary on

Lunch orders need to be done by 09/09/2019 at the latest.

Sunday 22nd September 2019 Coffee Stall Oosterbeek Cemetery

As in previous years volunteers are required to help with administration at the AGM and on Ginkel Heath and at the Cemetery.

Duties will involve checking members at the AGM and issuing lunch tickets.

At Ginkel Heath assisting at the entrance, helping veterans to the tent, enrolling new members and issuing lunch tickets. 

Anyone who helps on either occasion will get a free lunch ticket at Ginkel.

Please note the usual rules will apply for the area at Ginkel Heath:

The plan is to run the marquee along very similar lines as in previous years but with a few minor changes. 

As usual the veterans have again been invited to be our guests of honour. 

Details are as follows: The marquee and enclosure will be open from 0900. 

Access to the area will be by wearing a Fellowship lanyard showing your 2019 or Life Membership card or by displaying your 2019 or Life Membership card. 

Veterans and their Guests will be provided with admission cards which they should display whilst in the enclosure.  

If you still have your 2014/2015 lanyard please bring it with you. Plastic wallets will be available if you have misplaced your lanyard but no replacement lanyards are available.  

Refreshments – tea and coffee will be provided in the tent free of charge but if you wish to partake in the lunch this will cost £5 or €5. 

We have been advised that the maximum number of ‘guests’ the caterers can cope with is 300 and lunch tickets will therefore be limited to this number. 

You can ‘pre-order’ a lunch ticket and are encouraged to do so and can pay now. 

However, if there are any left it will be possible to buy a ticket in September either at the AGM or on Ginkel Heath – but bear in mind the limited numbers.  No ticket no lunch.

One member one access to the tent area – no guests.
